SafeTravelPH is proud to support the upcoming Simulation Exercise (SimEx) of four key routes in Naga City under its approved Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP).

Using the SafeTravelPH Parasol App, we’ve begun collecting baseline data on jeepney trip performance and ridership—and will continue during the SimEx on Aug 28 – Sept 1.

This exercise will test formalized stops (to boost average speeds from ~10kph) and agreed headways during off-peak hours—helping make public transport more attractive, efficient, and inclusive.

With the Parasol Platform’s data and analytics, we aim to guide both technical transition plans and business planning for cooperatives as they move forward in the Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP).

Traffic counts, commuter feedback, and operation and maintenance data from drivers and operators will be used also in the evaluation.

Together with our partners, we’re making public transport smarter, faster, and more people-centered.
